I created this series of different floral works during the pandemic of 2021.

In these challenging times, a highlight of my day is going for a walk around my neighbourhood. During my walks, I observed the vivid changes in lots of gardens, particularly the array of different flowers. 

​

I combined these beautiful neighbourhood flowers with a colour theory from my favourite colourist, Johannes Itten. Taking his theory of simultaneous contrasting colours, I created two artworks where the vibrant orange colour is balanced with a bluish-grey.
